Press Release – ETSOS extends product range with latest portal update
13th April 2012
Online search provider and conveyancing technology specialist, ETSOS, has announced the latest update to its free-to-use search ordering portal.
The portal already offers the widest search choice in the market and ETSOS is now adding yet more options. Highlights include DevAssist, a new development risk/opportunity report that goes beyond the usual planning search by not only providing a useful insight into the local area and existing or historical planning applications, but also providing a professional opinion on what may happen in the future. Plus those concerned about the potential impact of the new HIGHSPEED 2 rail project can take advantage of the addition of GroundSure’s HS2 report that clearly identifies whether a property is near the proposed route.
There are also two new environmental reports available: GroundSure Estate provides a comprenhensive environmental risk assessment with flood risk ‘screen’ while Landmark’s Envirosearch Prime offers data and analysis on local risk factors for high value properties or properties with extensive land.
ETSOS has also enhanced usability in response to customer feedback: products can now be ‘intelligently’ included in search packs based on property location. For example, coal reports can be automatically added in for properties in coal mining areas. This functionality extends to all known hazards including ball clay, brine extraction, radon, limestone, flood and tin mining.
Commenting on the update managing director Phil Natusch said: “Something we’re hearing on a regular basis from users is how the breadth of search choice is helping them from a compliance perspective, as ETSOS gives them real oversight of the market and helps them make the optimum selections for their clients. We’ve always been committed to continuously evaluating and enhancing our product range just to make our one click search shop the best it can possibly be but it’s interesting to see the extra benefits being leveraged from our growing offering.”
