SLC expands it’s online ordering platform

14th March 2013

The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) has expanded its electronic ordering platform, adding to the documents its members are able to access via the online system, which is run by ETSOS. In addition to the host of legal products, which SLC members can already purchase online, the ability to order Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) has now been added, enabling conveyancers to commission EPCs at the click of a button and at competitive rates.

Through the SLC’s partnership with ETSOS, members are able access to a single point of ordering for a host of different solutions required throughout the conveyancing transaction. The ETSOS platform was first launched to SLC members last summer, offering them the opportunity to order a range of legal documents to include searches, anti-money laundering reports, legal indemnity insurance and surveys, all in one central location and at competitive prices.

Simon Law, Chairman of the Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) said: “The ETSOS platform provides our members with a unique opportunity to secure cost savings, reduce admin burdens and earn referral fees. Since the new platform was first announced for SLC members we have received some really positive feedback from SLC firms that have been taking advantage of the ETSOS platform to order everything from searches to surveys. We are continually working with ETSOS to expand the documents that can be ordered via the platform and by adding EPCs to the product range, we hope to further ease the burden placed on conveyancers, while at the same time offering an opportunity for our members to secure savings.”

Philip Natusch, Managing Director at ETSOS added: “We are fully committed to making the ETSOS platform a one-stop-shop for SLC members and we’ve been working closely with Simon and the SLC board to ensure development of the product range is in line with member needs and wants. The addition of EPCs is just the latest example of our collaborative working that’s helping ensure members get the best possible service in terms of choice, price and turnaround.”

SLC members can place an online order via the ETSOS platform at the click of a button. The platform allows SLC members to offer their customers a number of products, all at discounted rates, while benefitting from a fast and efficient service.
