UPDATE: Roll out of CON29 changes

20th June 2016

Due to the upcoming CON29 changes scheduled for 4th July, we are aware that a number of local authorities will be closing their systems in preparation. You will start to see changes to the ETSOS ordering platform from next week to ensure no searches are requested with the incorrect forms from 4th July.

We are committed to working with you to ensure minimal disruption. For the local authorities affected, if you don’t want to wait to place your order, you can take advantage of our Personal Local Authority Search to help minimise the impact of these delays. Please contact your account manager who will be able to assist you.

The Law Society’s revisions to the CON29 forms have been implemented to improve the quality and consistency of information.  New enquiries have also been added to the forms, such as community infrastructure levy (CIL) and assets of community value.  These changes to questions will be implemented for both local authority searches and personal (regulated) searches.

The implementation of VAT on CON29 products, which was also scheduled for 4th July, has been deferred. We are awaiting further details regarding when a new date will be set and will update you as soon as possible.
