Getting personal with PSA

We introduced personal searches from PSA earlier this year as part of our commitment to bring our customers the broadest possible product choice. We’re pleased to report that take-up has been strong, with users citing speed and value as stand-out features.

ETSOS partners with PSA SearchFlow, the only search provider with an in house nationwide personal search agency which allows us to offer the best turnaround times possible as well as maintaining the highest standards in quality and accuracy of search content.

Searches include a full search of the Local Land Charges Register and Planning Register (planning history back to 1990) along with an inspection and/or request for data from all relevant departments and/or data providers to answer all the enquiries on the CON29R form.  We also supply full Building Control information associated with a subject property.

SearchFlow personal searches also come with the protection of insurance that will cover you for any errors or omissions.  The amount of cover is up to £5million per single claim

Fears of Tougher Regulations and Unjust Costs Mount Ahead of Government Announcement

Estate Agents are waiting for the big reveal on Monday after Lord Best has admitted some firms could close when the regulation of property agents (ROPA) makes its recommendations to the Government early next week.

Lord Best, the chair of ROPA, has already outlined the working group’s desire for more regulation.

[NEWSFLASH] Agent Charged DOUBLE Over AML Registration Mistake

Property Industry Eye (PIE) has highlighted the case of an estate agent who has fallen foul of HMRC and been charged double.

On 4th April, with plenty of time to spare, Hayman-Joyce renewed their annual HMRC registration. They paid the fee and thought they’d ticked all the boxes.
