ETSOS launches Ground-Breaking Quotation & Referral System … and it’s FREE!

31st January 2011

The Legal Services Act – which comes into force on 6th October 2011 – will deliver a seismic change in both the way legal services are delivered and also in respect of who delivers those services. “Tesco Law”, as some have called it, will be the “big bang” for the legal profession and the ripples of that big bang will be felt by all who do business with solicitors, not least estate agents.

To help their estate agent and solicitor clients deal with this challenge ETSOS are launching a ground breaking FREE quoting and referral system which will help estate agents manage referrals to their local solicitor network. ETSOS described by Matthew Robinson at Robinsons Solicitors as ‘the most exciting service provider to enter the conveyancing market in years’, have already impressed estate agents nationwide with the cutting edge IT of their easy to use on-line ordering system for a comprehensive suite services including EPC’s, floorplans and audio tours.

Solicitors also use ETSOS for ordering conveyancing searches online. Now the revolutionary ETSOS quotation and referral system, developed with help from Linder Myers LLP, will bring the two client groups together for the mutual benefit of both. The system will allow estate agents to obtain instant online quotations from and then refer work to their chosen conveyancers, who will then be able to keep the agents informed of the progress of a transaction by utlilising the 24/7 on line tracking facility, which is also an integral part of the system. In addition, the ETSOS quotation and referral software will integrate seamlessly with the existing ETSOS software for the ordering of the required conveyacing searches and if desired the solicitors’ own case management system.

The ETSOS quotation and referral system will therefore significantly reduce the administrative hassle of referring work between estate agents and conveyancers and on going updates thereafter, thereby promoting the passing of work between the two.

The system will also crucially allow estate agents to retain control of their referral panel and set their own commission and referral fee levels. And the efficiency of the system will enable estate agents to capture more conveyacing work thereby increasing the volume of referral fees.

For Philip Natusch, managing director at ETSOS this will give both estate agents and solicitors a much needed weapon to fight the onslaught of “Tesco Law” after implementation of the Legal Services Act on 6th October this year.

Philip says “We have substantial numbers of both estate agents and conveyancers using our platform. With Tesco Law just around the corner we are keen to estate agents retain their market share in a property market which will inevitably change. The ETSOS free quotation and referral system will deliver this and we are very excited to be rolling it out across the country.”

He added “We rely on our estate agent and solicitor clients to use us for their online ordering of the services they require to do their job to the best of their ability and so we are pleased to offer this additional service to them free of charge, where as other such quotation and referral systems can cost up to £170.00 or more per transaction”

ETSOS estate agents and solicitor clients are welcoming the latest offering and these are some of the comments received so far:

“We have used ETSOS for almost a year, and we are pleased that they can now offer a seamlessly integrated local panelling solution. It is a great tool to help us work more closely with Estate Agents, and enables us to keep our clients and the agents updated via the internet. We will be rolling out the system to all our Linder Myers offices soon.” – Duncan Rawlinson, Partner & head of conveyancing, Linder Myers Solicitors LLP.

“I already use ETSOS to order EPCs and have been very pleased with the results and the professional level of service offered. Our administration is easier now and EPCs are a good revenue stream. I would recommend ETSOS without reservation. We are proud to be one of the first companies to use ETSOS’s new local panelling system. It will transform the way we work by streamlining our systems and processes, and save our business time and money increasing profitability. It’s easy to use, great technology and best of all…it’s free.” – Justin Allitt, Managing Director, Allitt Estate Agents.

“The new module from ETSOS is really going to help us capture more conveyancing. This will be good, both for the consumer as we only refer to quality legal firms, and also good for the conveyancers as they will get more work.” – David Robinson, Partner, Cumbrian Properties.

“The ETSOS free quote and referral system is a free useful tool in keeping conveyancing work where it belongs: i.e. on the local high street! It is an essential way to prepare for the inevitable onslaught of Tesco law” – Gary Rycroft, Partner, Joseph A Jones & Co Solicitors.
