ETSOS complete collaboration project with VTUK

8th October 2012

ETSOS, the one-stop-shop for property professionals, has announced the successful completion of a collaboration project with estate agency software specialist VTUK.

The latest version of VTUK’s Aquarius software sees the full integration of ETSOS’s Quotation & Referral System (QRS), enabling agents to take control of conveyancing leads and instructions by linking in directly to their preferred law firms.

QRS allows agents to generate on-demand conveyancing quotes from their chosen law firm(s) for sale, purchase or remortgage transactions; the fully formatted quotes can then be emailed to clients instantly with a copy automatically going to the instructed solicitor. Cases can be subsequently tracked on line via the ETSOS platform.

Richard Megson, of ETSOS’s estate agency division, is quick to point out the benefits of the integration. “This is a real value-add for VTUK users as it gives agents the ability to collaborate more easily with their chosen solicitors, setting up what are effectively select local panels of firms to whom they want to pass their work – but without any panel management fees.

“It’s a virtuous circle: law firms provide comprehensive, competitive quotes in real-time, enabling agents to deliver a quicker, better service to homebuyers and so helping secure the instruction which passes back to the law firm. Given that many agents are reluctant to refer their legal work into the big conveyancing sheds or solicitors on the other side of the country, QRS offers up an excellent, no-cost means to build an efficient, customer-centric, and local alternative.”

Peter Grant, Managing Director at VTUK, added:

“We are delighted that we have integrated the excellent ETSOS’s QRS into Aquarius. This improvement will save our customers time and effort, and will further establish Aquarius as a one-stop-shop piece of estate agency management software.

“We have always strived to deliver products and services which enhance our customers’ productivity and simplify their procedures. The addition of ETSOS to Aquarius supports that claim and bolsters our position as the UK’s leading independent software company.”
