Consumer Protection Regulations (CPRs)

The regulations stipulate that the Agent and seller must supply full and accurate information about the property across a broad range of areas all of which may affect the decision of the purchaser to buy the property. Failure to do so will expose the agent or seller to prosecution.

Anti Money Laundering Regulations

  • Title search to determine the beneficial owners of the property
  • If the property is owned by a company a shareholder an directors search to determine the beneficial owners of the company, so property as per OFT guidance
  • Instant online AML check to verify the identity of the property owners and check their name against government watch lists
